Second call for papers

The Finnish National Committee of URSI (International Union of Radio Science) and SMARAD (Center of Excellence in Smart Radios and Wireless Research) will organize “Radiotieteen päivät” next Spring. This XXXIII National Convention on Radio Science will be held in Dipoli, Otaniemi, on Wednesday and Thursday, 24–25 April 2013. The program will start on 9 a.m. on Wednesday and finish by 4 p.m. on Thursday. A buffet dinner will follow the Wednesday program.

This convention will be a historical event because it takes place exactly 60 years after the first Radio Days in Finland (24–25 April 1953). The final seminar of SMARAD will form part of the event.

The list of topics of the solicited presentations contain all the fields of radio science. Submitted summaries should be in English and 2–4 pages in length in one-column format (see instructions).

In addition to the contributed presentations and poster session, the program contains eight plenary talks by Finnish and foreign experts in various fields of radio science and engineering.

A competition for the Young Scientist Award will be organized.
